Small class sizes and experiential learning are among the accolades that landed the Robins School of Business in the Top 20 in the latest Poets&Quants rankings. This is the second consecutive year the school ranked 18th overall for undergraduate business schools.

Poets&Quants for Undergrads is the leading online publication for undergraduate business education news. The ranked schools reflect the top 12% of the more than 840 business schools accredited by AACSB International, the main accrediting body for business education.

In its profile of the Robins School of Business, Poets&Quants wrote, “Numbers-wise, Robins proves to be a stellar undergraduate business program. And much of that success can be attributed to the B-school’s focus on small class sizes with high professor engagement and experiential learning-focused education.”

Examples of the business school’s experiential learning-style programming include the Spider Business Hub, which brings business students together with organizations in the Richmond area and beyond to develop business solutions, and Endeavor RSB, a living-learning experience for first-year business students.

“Our singular focus on creating a positive experience that both challenges and supports students is what drives us every day,” said Mickey Quiñones, dean of the Robins School. “It is gratifying to see this work reflected in these rankings.”

The Robins School also received high marks in other categories and was ranked 14th on career outcomes, 21 on academic experience, and 23 on admissions standards.
