Spider Talks, the popular video series featuring President Ronald A. Crutcher interviewing UR faculty about their research, first debuted in 2018. Since then, more than 20 episodes have been shot, edited, and streamed. Along the way, University Communications has collected some fun, behind-the-scenes video that hasn’t been shared.

Rather than leave all that fun on the cutting room floor, President Crutcher and the faculty featured granted permission for those outtakes to be captured and shared in a Spider Talks Blooper Reel. Content for the blooper reel was collected prior to the COVID pandemic.

While on a hiatus from filming new episodes due to the pandemic, a selection of some of the most popular episodes have aired this fall through Spider Talks Rewind. New episodes are slated to air beginning next month. Each episode will be featured on UR Now.
