Senior maximizes Richmond Guarantee for dream internship

At Richmond, our hardworking students maximize all opportunities our campus offers. For one b-school major, she turned her dream of a nonprofit internship with a prestigious dance company into a reality.
Gabriela Telepman, ’20, is studying business administration and Latin American, Latino, and Iberian studies, and was the only b-school student selected for a Civic Fellowship, a nonprofit branch of the Richmond Guarantee organized through the Center for Civic Engagement. At NYC’s Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Telepman worked in the development office and completed a research project.
“I loved that I was able to connect my passion for dance to both academics and my career, and solidified the idea that I want to pursue a job in this industry where I can continue to combine my interests after I graduate,” she said.
We are proud of all our students who integrate their passions into their academics!
