B-school welcomes accomplished new dean
Spider Pride
Our business school knows a thing or two about thriving students and a stellar reputation, so why wouldn’t we expect the same from leadership? The newest Spider, Miguel “Mickey” Quiñones, joins us in July as the next Robins School dean — and brings a long list of accolades along with him.
Quiñones is an internationally recognized expert and widely published author in the areas of individual and organizational development, as well as the strategic management of human capital. Currently at Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business, he received the highest recognition given for teaching effectiveness, as well as the MBA Outstanding Teaching Award.
“Since the issues facing our world today do not fit within clean disciplinary and geographic boundaries, tomorrow’s business leaders must draw upon the collective knowledge and inspiration found across the university and beyond to address our most pressing problems and capitalize on emerging opportunities,” Quiñones said. “I believe that the Robins School is uniquely positioned to lead in this rapidly changing world."
Welcome to the Spider Family, Dr. Quiñones! We know our students can’t wait to meet you.
