The students who choose UR have a variety of interests — and while we know they’re busy working toward their major, they also excel at more than a few other things, too.

Students like Milan Brooks, ’18, can be found all over campus showing off their exceptional academics. Because of Brooks’ superior leadership, she was recognized by Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, with a Foundation Scholarship that she plans to use to enroll in medical school.

While at Richmond, she served as a teaching fellow for the psychology department, peer mentor and tutor, and public relations chair for the pre-health fraternity and women in STEM sorority. Brooks also led a service-learning trip to Louisiana, engaged in more than four years of psychology research, and was a member of four dance teams.

Congratulations on your well-deserved recognition, Milan!
