Being a part of the University of Richmond community opens all kinds of doors — including at the highest level of state government. We’re proud recent grad Noah Clarke was hand-selected by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to join his Governor’s Fellows Program this summer. This prestigious crew gets sought-after exposure into the workings of state government.

“Our Fellows represent the best of Virginia: students willing to give up their summer in the name of public service for their fellow citizens,” Governor Northam said. “I look forward to seeing their contributions and watching them develop into leaders who will use their new skills and abilities to help build a stronger, more inclusive Virginia.”

Clarke majored in international studies and philosophy, politics, economics, and law, along with minors in Arabic studies and history. We’d say he’s used to a packed schedule and will be able to handle his post in the Office of the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security.

Congratulations, Noah! We’re thrilled you’re representing us this summer and can’t wait to see where this fellowship takes you.
