The Princeton Review names UR the nation's most beautiful campus

The University of Richmond is the nation’s No. 1 “most beautiful campus” in the Princeton Review’s latest 2021 college guide. Additionally, UR landed once again in the top 10 best schools for internships, career services, best-run colleges, best athletic facilities, best classroom experience, and best quality of life. 

“Students praise the University of Richmond’s unparalleled resources,” the annual “Best 386 Colleges” guide noted, “particularly the high number of research, internship, and study abroad opportunities available.”  

Students said that UR combines the resources of a major research institution, the breadth of a liberal arts education, and the multitude of out-of-classroom opportunities, which delivers a top-notch undergraduate experience that’s unique to every student. 

“Richmond is incredibly generous with not only need-based but merit-based aid, which is unusual for liberal arts colleges of a similar caliber,” said a student in the “Best Colleges” guide.

Since 1992, the “Best Colleges” list showcases approximately 13% of American four-year colleges that are the country’s best for undergraduate students. The rankings are based on surveys of 143,000 students at the colleges named in the guide.
