One of the University of Richmond’s favorite holiday traditions began in 1988 with the raising of a wreath to the top of Boatwright Memorial Library. A year later, two additional wreaths were added. Early December, a team from Facilities hoisted the three wreaths and hung them 85 feet in the air. Each wreath is 14 feet in diameter, with five-foot-wide bows and about 1,400 twinkling lights.
