UR Now: STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Six members of the Class of 2025 reflect on their UR experiences.

Hannah Pham – Robins School of Business

Hometown: Lorton, Virginia

Degree: Bachelor of Science, Business Administration with a major in Finance

Post-graduation plans: Work for UBS as an investment banking analyst in New York

What’s something you’ll always remember about your time at UR?

Dorm Nights my first year were especially fun because everything felt so new and electric. You’d hop between different rooms and meet new people. Also, spontaneous off-campus outings with friends.

What class outside of your major did you enjoy?

Intermediate Latin with Dr. Walt Stevenson. His down-to-earth, hilarious personality made the class genuinely entertaining. We also had fun competitions, like Latin Jeopardy.

Where did you study abroad?

I traveled to London and Paris for a week with my International Finance class. A highlight of the trip was exploring the Montmartre district in Paris, known for its charming cobblestone streets and village-like character. I enjoyed visiting the local cafés, stopping by Pierre Hermé, and taking in landmarks like the Moulin Rouge and Basilique du Sacré-Cœur.

What will you miss?

The caring faculty members and the Weinstein gym.
